In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
